You’ll expand your professional toolkit, gaining exposure to a wide range of student needs—non-verbal communication, speech improvement, and developmental delay challenges—building confidence and versatility on a preschool caseload. Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for license in NY)
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong collaborative, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy for preschool students, including non-verbal, speech development, and developmental delay cases
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Engage onsite, fostering strong relationships with students and staff
