You’ll work a steady Monday–Friday schedule, supporting an elementary school caseload in an itinerant role. This means you’ll engage with a wide variety of student needs, develop custom goals, participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and work closely with experienced SLPs to deliver direct therapy services.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California SLPA License/Authorization required
- Experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel locally between school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Assist with student speech and language assessments
- Support development of treatment goals and documentation for IEPs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy under SLP supervision
- Collaborate with teachers and staff, traveling between assigned school sites
