School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | West Hartford, Connecticut

Professional Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Holds or working toward ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Skilled in delivering speech/language therapy in a school setting, on-site or via teletherapy
- Experience with elementary-aged caseloads strongly preferred
- Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and case management experience are a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech/language therapy to elementary students in individual and group settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a wide range of speech and language disorders
- Write and maintain detailed documentation, including progress reports and IEPs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and communicate with parents and staff
- Utilize resources to adapt to both in-person and virtual service delivery as needed
- Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for families and colleagues
