What you’ll bring:
- Valid SLPA license in California
- Previous experience providing speech-language services to children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help students succeed
- Ability to follow therapy plans created by supervising SLPs and document progress clearly
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in implementing speech and language therapy plans under the guidance of supervising SLPs
- Conducting therapy sessions individually or in small groups
- Collecting and maintaining accurate data on student progress
- Participating in team meetings, IEP discussions, and parent communication as needed
- Supporting generalization of communication strategies within the classroom environment
