Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Holds active SLP credentials and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school environment, especially with early childhood (EC) and elementary populations
- Skilled in working with non-verbal students and those with developmental delays
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Passionate about providing evidence-based interventions in educational settings
- Commitment to working onsite and engaging directly with students and school teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication needs
- Work closely with other educators, service providers, and families to support student progress
- Adapt therapy approaches to primarily non-verbal or minimally verbal children
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation to support IEPs and progress monitoring
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
