Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current SLP license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Effective communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Passion for working with children and educators to foster student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, and communication disorders using a variety of evaluation tools
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals based on assessment data
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support and generalize communication strategies in classrooms
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to comprehensive student planning
