Qualifications & Skills:
- Active State of Tennessee SLP license (TN SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Proficiency in evaluating and treating a wide range of speech and language disorders
- Passion for tailored therapy approaches to fit diverse learning styles and developmental needs
- Collaborative spirit for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 55 PK–1 students
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Write and maintain detailed reports, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute evaluation results, and offer expert recommendations
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster an inclusive and communicative classroom environment
- Adapt interventions and support as needed to ensure student success
