Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, current and in good standing
  • Demonstrated experience providing diagnostic and therapeutic SLP services in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulatory, certification, and accrediting guidelines
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills; proven ability to work integrally within an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered care

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative SLP services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other specialists to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and staff regarding communication and swallowing strategies
  • Continuously evaluate therapy outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal results
