Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Previous experience or school-based practicum with PreK through 5th grade students (preferred)
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills for working with young learners
- Ability to implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Excellent organizational and collaboration abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP
- Support students in developing social, articulation, language, and communication skills
- Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and preparation of therapy materials
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
