Qualifications:
- Hold an active SLPA license or certification.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to connect with and motivate children in PreK through 5th grade.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to individual student needs and collaborate with teachers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Work with a diverse caseload, implementing therapy goals and strategies for PreK – 5th grade students.
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring ongoing communication with supervising SLP and staff.
- Prepare materials and activities tailored to individual and small group needs.
- Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages each student's communication development.
