Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

We are seeking a qualified and dependable Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a part-time, onsite school-based opportunity in Warden, Washington for the 2026–2027 school year.
The selected SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct speech and language services to students and support their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services under SLP supervision
Work individually and in small groups with students
Implement treatment plans and IEP goals established by the supervising SLP
Collect and document student progress data
Prepare therapy materials and assist with treatment activities
Collaborate with the supervising SLP, teachers, and other school professionals
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district requirements
Support students in developing functional communication skills
Requirements:
Appropriate SLPA education and training
Active Washington SLPA credential/license or eligibility to obtain required authorization
Must meet applicable Washington and district requirements
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to work part-time and onsite in Warden
