Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Tacoma, Washington
Schedule: Full-Time | School-Based | Onsite
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, onsite school-based opportunity in Tacoma, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLPA looking to work directly with students while collaborating with an SLP and multidisciplinary educational team.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services under the supervision of an SLP
Implement treatment plans and IEP goals
Work with students individually and in small-group settings
Support students with speech, language, and communication needs
Collect data and document student progress
Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, special education staff, and families
Requirements:
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related speech-language field
Current Washington SLPA license/credential required
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work full-time and onsite in Tacoma, WA
Must meet applicable Washington and district requirements
