Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and communication development in a dynamic educational setting. Two Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants are needed for the 2026 – 2027 school year, with positions serving either elementary or middle school students. This role starts immediately and runs through June 23, 2027, offering a steady, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll collaborate with a virtual SLP who will provide supervision and guidance, ensuring you have the resources and support needed to thrive in your role.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Current Washington SLPA certification, or willingness to obtain WA SLPA licensure and complete OSPI fingerprinting process
  • Experience working in a school environment; middle school background preferred for the relevant opening
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to foster meaningful relationships with students, educators, and families
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness supporting diverse communication needs in diverse populations
  • Passion for facilitating communication, social development, and academic participation in young learners

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to student caseload under supervision from a licensed SLP
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ individualized education plans
  • Document progress accurately and maintain organized records per district and state guidelines
  • Assist in developing and implementing engaging therapy activities aligned with students’ goals
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
