Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid California state license (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience providing speech therapy in school settings
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy planning skills
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Compassionate and student-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate the speech, language, and communication abilities of students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and support to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and provide insight for student progress reviews
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor student outcomes
