Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid California state license (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience providing speech therapy in school settings
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy planning skills
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Compassionate and student-focused approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate the speech, language, and communication abilities of students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and support to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and provide insight for student progress reviews
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor student outcomes
