Speech Language Pathologist in Aromas, CA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving a PreK caseload as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
- Valid CA licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist; CCCs preferred
- Experience with school-based or pediatric populations, particularly PreK
- Bilingual candidates highly encouraged to apply
- Strong collaboration, assessment, and documentation abilities
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person assessments and deliver speech-language therapy for PreK students with diverse communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff to foster student progress
- Provide timely progress monitoring, data collection, and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and advocating for student needs
- Support classroom strategies that enhance language, articulation, and social pragmatic skills
