Exciting opportunities are available for two dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for a full school-year contract, with positions open at the elementary and middle school level. A supportive virtual Speech-Language Pathologist is already in place to provide comprehensive supervision and collaboration, ensuring you succeed in your role.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Current Washington State SLPA licensure, or willingness to obtain and to complete OSPI fingerprinting.
  • Experience within school settings—especially middle schools for one of the positions—is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities to effectively carry out treatment plans and document student progress.
  • Commitment to working as a proactive team player alongside educators, therapists, and parents, focusing on student-centered goals.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct interventions for students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) under supervision.
  • Document session data and observations, promptly reporting student progress to supervising SLP.
  • Support speech and language development for students in either elementary or middle school environments.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to facilitate inclusive communication strategies in classrooms.
  • Attend relevant meetings and training sessions to ensure quality service delivery.

This contract role consists of 37.5 hours per week, running from ASAP through June 23, 2027. You’ll find opportunities for growth, a collaborative culture, and the ability to help students find their voice.
