School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Tacoma, Washington

Two passionate professionals are needed—one to work with elementary age students, and another for dedicated service at the middle school level (middle school experience welcomed). You’ll have the unique advantage of a remote supervising SLP who will provide guidance and support, setting you up for growth and success in your role.
Requirements:
- Hold current or be willing to obtain Washington State SLPA licensure
- Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI, or be open to obtaining
- Experience in schools as an SLPA; middle school experience is highly preferred for the middle school role
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to creating a positive, supportive experience for students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a virtual SLP
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ communication goals
- Track and document student progress and session notes
- Adapt materials and activities for individual student needs
- Contribute to IEP meetings and support the implementation of student plans
