Two contract opportunities are available, supporting either elementary or middle school students in a dynamic educational environment near Auburn, WA. Key Qualifications:
- Valid (or willingness to obtain) WA SLPA licensure
- OSPI fingerprint clearance required (or willing to obtain)
- Experience in a school-based setting
- Middle school experience is highly preferred for those interested in the middle school position
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and communication development
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language interventions to students under SLP supervision
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with fidelity
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s communication needs
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Maintain accurate records, session notes, and progress reports
- Assist with screening, assessment, and data collection as directed by supervising SLP
Role Details:
- Two positions available – one serving elementary, one serving middle school students
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Contract runs from ASAP through June 23, 2027
- Virtual SLP provides supervision, ongoing mentorship, and support
