Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington SLPA license, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Completion of OSPI fingerprinting, or intent to complete this requirement prior to start.
- Experience with school-aged children; middle school background preferred for one opening.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students as determined by the IEP.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support students’ communication development.
- Implement therapy plans and track progress under the supervision of a certified SLP.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to assessment processes, and assist in paperwork and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical guidelines in line with state requirements.
