Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Vista, CA

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure or certification
- Experience providing speech-language support in school settings, especially with middle school students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptable, proactive, and compassionate approach
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred
- Previous contract or travel experience is a plus, but not required
Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication support under the supervision of an SLP
- Assist in the planning and execution of therapy sessions tailored to middle school students
- Collect data and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere that encourages student participation
- Support student advocacy and communication needs across classroom and school environments
