What we’re looking for:
- Valid SLPA license or certification in California
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool or elementary-aged children
- Familiarity with school-based therapy services
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and positivity in a dynamic classroom environment
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions under the guidance of a licensed SLP
- Support individualized education plan (IEP) goals for students in pre-K through grade 5
- Maintain accurate records and session notes for all assigned students
- Engage with classroom staff to reinforce communication targets
- Participate in supervision, meetings, and ongoing training as required
- Communicate progress and challenges to the supervising SLP and educational team
