Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and current SLPA license or certification
- Prior experience supporting speech and language services in a school setting, particularly with early childhood or elementary populations
- Comfort working collaboratively with speech-language pathologists and educational teams
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Dedicated to delivering high-quality, student-centered care
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for Pre-K and K-5 students under the direction of a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct support for speech and language therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small group settings
- Collect and document data on student progress and communicate observations effectively to the supervising SLP and educators
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support generalization of speech and language skills in the classroom environment
- Participate in supervision and training as required by district policies
