A great school district in the Texas City, Texas area is now looking to hire a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026โ2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based contract position supporting students across the Kโ12 population.
The SLPA will work in an itinerant role and may provide services across multiple school locations based on student and district needs. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and available to work a full-time schedule.

ยท Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
ยท Provide bilingual speech-language support for Spanish-speaking students.
ยท Implement treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP.
ยท Support Kโ12 students with articulation, language, fluency, communication, and related needs.
ยท Provide individual and group-based therapy services as appropriate.
ยท Monitor student progress toward established speech and language goals.
ยท Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, families, and other school-based professionals.
ยท Maintain accurate therapy documentation and student service records.
ยท Travel between assigned school locations as required by the itinerant position.

ยท Previous school-based or pediatric SLPA experience preferred.
ยท Experience working with Kโ12 students is preferred.
ยท Experience providing bilingual speech and language support is strongly preferred.
ยท Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple school sites.
