This full-time, onsite position is available for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, working exclusively at a single school site in the Fort Worth area. You'll play a vital role in helping a caseload of approximately 60-65 students achieve their communication and learning goals throughout the academic year, starting in August and concluding in late May.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited SLPA program
- Active Texas SLPA license (required)
- Previous experience providing services in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus
- Must be available to work onsite (no virtual roles offered)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team
- Completion of fingerprint/background check through TEA (can take up to 10 business days)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy support to K-12 students under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and session activities
- Adapt therapy approaches and materials based on individual needs and IEP goals
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in scheduled meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
