School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Weatherford, TX

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Must possess an active Texas Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license; candidates completing clinical hours or without an active credential cannot be considered
- Experience working with K-12 students is preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) fluency highly desirable
- Ability to complete or verify fingerprints through TEA (processing up to 10 business days)
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with school-aged children and collaborating with fellow staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and interventions under SLP supervision
- Assist in assessments, progress documentation, and implementation of IEPs
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and team members regarding student progress
- Effectively support a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, adapting strategies to meet diverse needs
- Help foster an inclusive, supportive climate for communication success
