This contract opportunity offers full-time hours—up to 37.5 hours per week—at a single school site, serving approximately 60-65 students with a variety of speech and language needs. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and licensed SLPs to implement therapy plans and help students reach their potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) licensure in Texas (candidates must have full licensure and completed clinical hours)
- Experience supporting K-12 students preferred
- Bilingual Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children and adolescents
- Ability to complete or verify fingerprinting requirements through TEA (may take up to 10 business days)
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in developing and executing individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation of students’ progress
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment conducive to learning and growth
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Engage in regular communication and consultation with supervising SLPs
