Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and current Texas SLPA licensure is absolutely required; candidates completing clinical hours cannot be considered
- Experience working in a school-based environment strongly preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued
- Capacity to support a diverse K-12 caseload, ideally 60-65 students
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Must be able to complete or verify fingerprinting through TEA (allow 10 business days for results)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language interventions to assigned students under SLP supervision
- Assist with assessment preparation, data collection, and progress documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and school teams to support students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely student records according to district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Facilitate student engagement and communication skill-building in group or individual settings
