Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Experience supporting school-aged children across a variety of needs, including general education and resource settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- A passion for fostering development in students with social-emotional needs
- Ability to organize, track, and report student progress effectively
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services as guided by supervising SLP and IEP requirements
- Support students' communication, speech, and language development within the classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with educators and resource staff to implement strategies that boost student success
- Contribute to IEP documentation by recording accurate, timely progress notes
- Assist with materials preparation and data collection to support therapy goals
- Engage in ongoing professional development and school activities
