Managing a caseload of approximately 50 students, you’ll foster positive outcomes and meaningful connections in a collaborative school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLPA license/certification (required)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of therapy practices for both general education and special needs populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to organize and maintain accurate student records
- Passion for working with children and supporting individual progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in the implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school staff to coordinate services and monitor progress
- Support a primarily general education population, as well as a resource group managing social emotional needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided for approximately 50 students
- Communicate regularly with family members and staff to facilitate student success
