School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Taunton, Massachusetts

As an SLPA in this setting, you’ll:
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold active SLPA certification or licensure (required for school-based practice)
- Previous experience in a school environment or working with children preferred
- Solid understanding of age-appropriate speech, language, and communication interventions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently under the supervision of an SLP
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in K–4th grades as outlined in IEPs under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist
- Support in facilitating small group or one-on-one sessions to address speech and language goals
- Document student progress and session outcomes with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and adapt materials that support individualized learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster student success
- Attend team meetings, follow school policies, and maintain ethical standards
Position Details:
- Contract position, starting as soon as possible through June 4, 2027
- Full time: 32.5 hours per week
- On-site assignment at a K–4th grade school
