Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Boston, MA

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) license in Massachusetts (or eligibility)
- Experience supporting speech therapy in an educational environment, particularly with middle school students, is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to work independently under the supervision of an SLP
- Enthusiasm for fostering student growth and providing compassionate, individualized support
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 15-20 students in grades 5 through 8
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with supervising SLP and classroom teachers
- Document student progress and maintain records in accordance with school and state policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to academic and social-emotional success plans for students
- Support generalization of communication goals within the classroom and social settings
