Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid California SLPA license required
- School-based experience or strong clinical skills supporting children and adolescents
- Familiarity with SIRAS or AbleSpace IEP systems is highly preferred
- Comfortable working independently across multiple school locations
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, evidence-based speech and language intervention under SLP supervision
- Work with IEP teams to implement individual education plans
- Assist with screenings, data collection, and progress monitoring for students
- Support communication and language skills development through targeted activities
- Adapt intervention materials based on student needs and teacher input
- Maintain accurate documentation using SIRAS or AbleSpace
- Travel between 2-3 school sites as needed
Role Details:
- Full-time schedule: 7.5 hours per day (with an unpaid 30-minute lunch), totalling 37.5 hours per week
- School year contract from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with the option for extended school year (ESY)
- Work with K-12 students in varied school environments
