School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Sunnyvale, California

Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification in California for at least one year
- Previous experience working within a school district
- Background serving students with extensive support needs
- Familiarity with data collection and progress monitoring
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, though not required
- Comfort working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices is valuable
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to elementary-aged students as directed by supervising SLPs
- Implement individualized therapy goals and lesson plans
- Assist in the use of AAC devices and technology-based interventions
- Document student progress and support regular data collection
- Collaborate with teachers, specialized staff, and families to ensure student growth
- Maintain compliance with district requirements and student privacy standards
