To thrive in this position, bring your expertise and commitment, along with:
- An active and current California SLPA certification (minimum of one year)
- Previous experience working within a school district
- Background supporting students with extensive support needs
- Proficiency in progress monitoring and data collection
- Familiarity with AAC devices
- Spanish bilingual skills are preferred but not required
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Supporting speech and language services for elementary students—caseload details to be finalized
- Implementing therapy plans under the direction of licensed SLPs
- Collecting and documenting progress data
- Collaborating with staff and families to support individualized student goals
- Assisting with AAC device use and student communication programs
This full-time contract offers a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing the stability to build meaningful connections with students and colleagues. Starting pay is $38+ per hour, in recognition of your skills and experience.
