Preferred Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification in California for at least one year
- Prior experience in a school district setting
- Demonstrated ability to support students with extensive support needs
- Skilled in the use of data collection and progress monitoring tools
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, though not mandatory
- Familiarity or experience with AAC devices is valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to elementary students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate closely with SLPs, teachers, and special education teams
- Track and document student progress through consistent data collection
- Support students who utilize AAC devices to enhance communication
- Participate in team meetings and family communications as needed
- Maintain a flexible, student-focused approach across a varied caseload
What to Expect:
- Pay starting at $38 per hour
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours/week, 5 days/week
