Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - San Jose, CA

Qualifications:
- Active California SLPA certification for a minimum of one year
- Previous experience within a school district
- Background working with students requiring extensive support
- Strong skills in data collection and progress monitoring
- Prior experience with AAC devices is a plus
- Spanish-English bilingual skills are preferred, though not required
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language support to elementary students under the supervision of an SLP
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure coordinated care
- Assist with AAC device implementation and communication strategies
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with district standards
- Contribute to team meetings and individualized education planning
This role offers a full-time schedule, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, within a supportive environment.
