Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License in Texas
- Bilingual in Spanish is required to effectively serve the student population
- Previous experience in a school setting or with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and assist with developing instructional materials
- Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Support all aspects of students’ speech and language development in both English and Spanish
- Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate services
- Adapt approaches to meet the unique needs of a diverse caseload
This is a contract role beginning August 12, 2026 and ending October 2, 2026, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Competitive pay for this assignment is $40 per hour, disbursed weekly.
