Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in TX
- Background or experience working in school settings (experience with K–12 students preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
- Ability to plan, implement, and document individualized therapy sessions
- Passion for helping students overcome communication challenges
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse K–12 caseload
- Develop personalized therapy plans aligned with IEPs and collaborate with educators and families
- Maintain organized, thorough records and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Deliver direct and consultative services in classrooms and therapy settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in team discussions
- Provide guidance and strategies to staff and caregivers for supporting student development
