Lamar Consolidated Independent School District is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an onsite contract position for the 2026โ2027 school year in Rosenberg, TX. This opportunity will primarily support middle and high school students, with the district considering each candidateโs location when determining school assignments.
The district is primarily seeking a full-time SLPA for 37.5 hours per week but may consider candidates seeking approximately 30 hours per week. Clinicians will typically be assigned to one school, although some may support two campuses depending on district needs.

ยท Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
ยท Support middle and high school students with communication, articulation, language, and related needs
ยท Implement treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP
ยท Provide individual and group-based therapy services as appropriate
ยท Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
ยท Assist students who utilize AAC devices and other communication supports
ยท Maintain accurate therapy documentation and student progress records
ยท Follow district and state guidelines for school-based SLPA services

ยท Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
ยท Experience working with middle and high school students is preferred
ยท Experience with AAC devices is a plus
ยท Candidates should be comfortable managing a secondary caseload under SLP supervision
