As you work closely with students, you’ll have the opportunity to implement therapy plans, assist with assessment activities, and foster communication skills that will help students thrive academically and beyond. You’ll primarily support one campus (to be confirmed), managing a caseload of approximately 60-65 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas SLPA license (required; candidates with pending licensure or clinical hours cannot be considered)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLPA roles
- Bilingual, Spanish-speaking preferred
- Comfort working with K-12 age groups
- Ability to meet Texas Education Agency fingerprinting requirements (up to 10 business days for processing)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions as directed by a supervising SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
- Support generalization of communication skills throughout the school environment
