School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Rock Hall, Maryland

Key Qualifications:
- Current SLPA license or certification required
- Background or coursework in speech-language pathology or communication disorders
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, SLPs, and families
- Comfortable working in an itinerant role across up to five schools
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language intervention to K-12 students under SLP supervision
- Follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and assist with progress monitoring
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and SLPs to support generalization of skills
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student performance
- Support assessment activities and assist with preparation of therapy materials
- Travel between multiple school sites as needed throughout the week
Position Details & Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week, with part-time consideration available
- School hours: High school from 7:20 am – 2:40 pm, elementary from 8:30 am – 3:50 pm
- Itinerant role serving up to five schools; exact caseload to be determined
