School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Annapolis, Maryland

You’ll play a vital part in helping students realize their potential, whether you’re working at the high school (7:20am–2:40pm) or elementary level (8:30am–3:50pm). With consistent weekly hours (37.5) and the option for part-time consideration, there’s flexibility to fit your lifestyle and career aspirations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- SLPA or SLP licensure for schools in Maryland is required
- Experience with K-12 populations or an interest in working with diverse age groups
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills to support an itinerant schedule
- Team-oriented mindset, comfortable collaborating with colleagues across multiple school sites
- Passion for fostering communication skills and empowering students in academic settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload, with specific assignments to be determined
- Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Complete documentation, assessments, and reporting in alignment with district and state guidelines
- Travel between up to five schools within the district
- Participate in district- and school-level meetings as needed, working closely with fellow SLPs and administration
