Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Rainier, OR

We’re seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) ready to help learners reach their full potential. You’ll work full time (37.5 hours per week) and enjoy variety, traveling between two closely located school sites to provide critical support across grade levels.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Oregon
- School-based experience preferred, particularly with K-8th populations
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, student-centered approach
- Ability to travel between two local school sites as part of your daily schedule
- Organizational skills for managing schedules and documentation
- Enthusiasm for fostering student growth and building strong partnerships with teachers and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group speech-language therapy as prescribed by supervising SLPs
- Support the implementation of IEP goals, track student progress, and assist with documentation
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals on intervention strategies and classroom modifications
- Adapt activities and materials to meet the diverse needs of students across multiple grade levels
- Contribute to a positive school environment while demonstrating flexibility and initiative
- Maintain compliance with school and state policies
