Seeking a skilled professional to offer onsite support as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for an elementary caseload in a school setting. This contract opportunity allows you to work closely with students, collaborating with educators and a dynamic clinical team near Quincy, MA. The schedule offers 32.5 hours per week, providing a consistent routine while positively impacting young learners' communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license required
- Experience supporting students in schools or healthcare settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work effectively under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions as outlined by supervising Speech Language Pathologist
- Support students in developing their speech, language, and communication abilities
- Collect data and document student progress accurately
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other professionals
- Engage in ongoing professional development and seek support or guidance when needed
