What we’re seeking:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license is required
- Experience supporting students in elementary school settings preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and education teams
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
- Previous experience in school-based or healthcare-based SLPA roles is highly valued
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged students as outlined by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support assessment and progress monitoring activities
- Prepare therapy materials, document student progress, and contribute to team meetings
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to implement strategies that foster students’ communication development and academic success
- Participate in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities to elevate your skillset
