School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Boston, Massachusetts

Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist Assistant License (required)
- Experience working as an SLPA in schools or healthcare settings highly preferred
- Familiarity with evaluation, intervention, and documentation practices for elementary-aged students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Collaborative approach to work within a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and goals for a diverse caseload
- Assist with screenings and documentation of student progress
- Support students in developing essential communication skills for classroom and social success
- Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with all relevant state and district guidelines
