This full-time contract opportunity spans approximately six weeks, providing crucial support as the district’s direct hires complete their required observation hours for licensure.
You’ll be part of a collaborative environment, contributing to student success and building strong relationships with educators and families. While campus assignments and caseload will be shared after upcoming meetings, expect to work with diverse student age groups across multiple campuses, making a meaningful difference each day.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA license is required
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with supporting a range of ages and communication needs
- Quick, efficient completion of Texas fingerprinting requirements if not already cleared
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability as caseload and assignment details will be finalized soon
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct support to supervising SLPs in delivery of speech-language services
- Implement therapy plans and document student progress
- Collaborate with school teams and families for optimal student outcomes
- Support multiple campuses as needed
- Flexibly respond to changing student needs and classroom environments
