Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA licensure, in good standing
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with SLPs, educators, and other staff
- Prompt completion of Texas fingerprinting/background check (for those not currently in the system)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to be assigned to multiple schools as needed (assignment locations TBD)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and communication support to students under supervision of certified SLPs
- Assist with implementation of IEP goals and documentation as required
- Cooperate with school teams, adapting to evolving caseload needs
- Prepare therapy materials and support classroom language initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and follow district procedures
