Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license in good standing
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced educational environments
- Familiarity with protocols for confidential student information
- Timely completion of Texas fingerprinting and credentialing, if not already cleared
- Flexibility and adaptability to shifting caseloads and assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language intervention services to students as directed by supervising SLPs
- Support varying caseloads and age groups as assigned (final details to be provided after upcoming district meeting)
- Carry out therapy goals and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other health professionals
- Utilize excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders
- Comply with all district and state policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
