Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Current state licensure/certification as an SLPA (required)
- Experience or practicum in a school setting preferred
- Comfort working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, student-focused approach
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy to students with mild to moderate speech and language delays, as directed by the supervising SLP
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate session documentation
- Assist with assessments and collect data on student progress
- Adapt session activities to meet diverse learning styles and goals
- Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding student development
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all student interactions
