Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Education (DOE) certification as an SLPA
- Experience working with a diverse student population in Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Strong understanding of speech-language therapy techniques, intervention plans, and IEP documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, team members, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy activities under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support students in achieving communicative competence and academic success, adapting strategies as needed for individual or group sessions
- Assist with assessment and progress tracking, maintaining accurate data and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings when appropriate, delivering updates on student performance
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students
- Communicate regularly with staff and families, providing insights and updates on student progress
