Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Texas SLPA license through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Eligible for supervision by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a direct-service caseload of up to 80 elementary students, mainly in group sessions
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in student care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language intervention services to elementary-age students according to their IEP goals
- Plan and implement therapy sessions, primarily in small groups, under the direction of a supervising SLP
- Track student progress and document sessions thoroughly and accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to foster student success
- Assist with screening and assessment activities as requested by the supervising SLP
- Support classroom communication strategies and adapt materials for individual student needs
